Here is my pack 15.31 pounds.
So let me introduce all of you to Bill and Michelle (Shelly), if you knew her since kindergarten, Marshall. Our walking partners. As you can see they look very stylish and ready to hit the Camino. We are ticking down to go time. Thirty-four days until we head out from Boston. YIKES!

So Kathy and I are in the middle of building a new home. We are hoping it would be done before we leave for our stroll across Spain. That does not look like it’s going to happen. So when we return in the beginning of October hopefully they moving into our new home.

Thanks for joining me! A few years ago while sitting around a campfire with a cold beer with my wife Kathy and good friends Bill and Shelly, we talked about doing a long hike. We talked about the typical hikes in the US, The Appalachian Trail, Parts of the Pacific Coast Trail, the Rim to Rim Hike, my friend Shelly suggested a different option. The Camino De Santiago, (the French Way) a 500 mile trek across Spain. After much discussion we set a date, which is arriving, or has arrived. We left for our trip on 20 Sept 2018 and started walking on 22 Sept. I created this blog so friends and family could follow our trek. I am hoping I will have the time to keep this blog up. I understand that there is WI-FI available along our route on a nightly basis for the most part. So enjoy!
